You can book online.

Out of Hours Cover

For non-emergency and acute conditions outside of surgery hours, please call the surgery line on 01384 366166, listen to the answerphone message and follow instructions.

In case of emergency, please call 999.

Information about public holiday cover will be placed the news feed of the website.
When the surgery is closed you will be directed to 111 service.

Home Visits

If you are too ill to attend the surgery, please request a home visit via the appointments telephone line. Our clinicians will assess your symptoms over the phone prior to arranging a visit.

Please refrain from requesting a home visit unless absolutely necessary, they take up a great deal of the doctors time and should only be reserved for patients who are medically unable to attend the surgery. Transport problems will not be accepted as a reason for the doctor to do a home visit. By attending the surgery the doctor has the necessary specialist equipment available to examine you, with the help of other health professionals if necessary. This is to reduce the impact on other patients.

If you need to request a home visit please try and ring before 11am to enable the doctor to see you after morning surgery.

No patient in definite need of a home visit will be refused.

GP Extended Access

Kingswinford and Wordsley PCN provide additional GP appointments.

If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours. The telephone lines will not necessarily be available during these additional clinic times.

Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

Your Local Pharmacy may be Able to Help

You may not always need to see a doctor or get a prescription. Local pharmacies offer many of the same services local GPs do.

Your local pharmacy can provide confidential, expert advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses. They have private consultation rooms and you don’t need to make an appointment.

And, if symptoms suggest it’s something more serious, pharmacists have the right training to make sure patients get the help they need. You can find your nearest pharmacy, including opening times, here.

Changing and Cancelling Appointments

If you need to cancel your appointment the easiest and quickest way to do so is by following the instructions you received in your appointment text reminder.

Alternatively you can cancel by phone or in person at reception. Please cancel with as much notice as possible so that we can utilise the appointment for another patient that may need it.

If you need to rearrange your routine GP appointment you can do so via the NHS app or patient access.

For all appointments with all clinicians you can do so by phone or in person.
